Why another tracker

A headache diary you'll actually keep during a headache

Most migraine apps hand you a form at the exact moment you can't look at a screen. MigraSync is built for the worst hour of your worst day: one tap to start an attack, everything else optional, nothing lost if you finish it tomorrow.

Features

Everything a neurologist asks about

Captured the way you'd actually say it — not the way a form wants it.

One-tap attack logging

Start an attack the moment it hits and the timer runs in the background. Add pain, symptoms and medication whenever you're able — or backdate the whole thing tomorrow. Nothing is lost because you were too ill to finish.

Pain mapping that means something

Tap where it hurts on a head diagram and rate the intensity. Unilateral, occipital, behind the eye — recorded precisely, without needing to know the vocabulary.

Aura & symptoms

Visual aura, nausea, photophobia, phonophobia, numbness, speech changes — logged with timing, so prodrome and postdrome show up in your history.

Medication & overuse alerts

Track acute and preventive doses, get reminders that nudge you up to three times, and see a warning as your intake nears medication-overuse thresholds.

Weather, automatically

Pressure, temperature and humidity are attached to every entry for you — so you can finally settle whether the weather is really a trigger.

Cycle correlation

Log periods alongside attacks to see whether yours cluster in a particular cycle phase — the single most commonly missed pattern.

Good days count too

Log the days that went well. A tracker that only records pain gives your doctor half a picture — and gives you a bleak one.

HIT-6 impact scoring

The validated Headache Impact Test, built in and tracked over time, so changes in disruption are measured rather than remembered.

MigraBrain

The pattern is already in your data. This finds it.

MigraBrain is a correlation engine that reads your history — not population averages. It looks at what actually preceded your attacks across weather, sleep, medication, cycle and triggers, then tells you which signals matter for you.

  • Predictive risk alerts. A heads-up when today resembles the days that went badly before.
  • Pressure-drop notifications. Driven by your local forecast, tuned to your own sensitivity.
  • Honest confidence. Every correlation shows how much data backs it — and stays quiet until there's enough.
  • Plain language. "3× more likely after a night under 6 hours" — not a p-value.

Sleep debt is your strongest signal

7 of your last 10 attacks followed a night under 6 hours. Nothing else in your log comes close.

Pressure drops matter — conditionally

Falls over 6 hPa raise your risk, but mostly when they land in the week before your period.

Your triptan works best early

Taken within 45 minutes of onset, relief was complete in 8 of 11 attacks. After two hours: 1 of 6.

Doctor-ready reports

Ten minutes with a neurologist, spent well

Export a clinical PDF covering frequency, duration, severity distribution, acute medication days, impact scoring and your HIT-6 trend. Everything a headache specialist asks in the first consultation — already answered.

  • Monthly headache days and acute medication days — the two numbers that drive treatment decisions.
  • Medication efficacy per drug, including how quickly relief arrived.
  • Ranked trigger and symptom frequency tables.
  • Share as PDF, print it, or just bring it on your phone.
Privacy

Your health data is not our business model

We don't sell data, we don't run ad trackers, and by default your records never leave your phone.

Local-first storage

Your symptom logs and health records live on your device. Nothing is uploaded unless you switch on cloud backup yourself — and you can switch it off again whenever you want.

Zero tracking

No third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising identifiers, no data brokers. Your health patterns are never sold, rented or shared.

Portable and deletable

Export your entire history as JSON in one tap. Delete your account and every cloud record from inside the app — permanently, on your own schedule.

Pricing

Free forever for tracking.
Premium for the analysis.

Logging your own migraines should never sit behind a paywall. Premium pays for the correlation engine, the weather data and the reports.

FAQ

Questions people actually ask

Do I need an account to use MigraSync?

No. The app works fully offline with no sign-up. You only create an account if you want cloud backup, so your history survives a lost or replaced phone.

Where is my data stored?

On your device, in the app's private storage. If you enable cloud backup, a copy is also kept on our server so it can be restored later. Backup stays off until you switch it on.

Is MigraSync a medical device?

No. MigraSync is a personal tracking and wellness tool. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and nothing in it substitutes for advice from a qualified clinician. Always talk to your doctor before changing treatment.

How does the weather data work?

With your permission, the app uses your approximate location to fetch local conditions — barometric pressure, temperature, humidity — and attaches them to your entries. Deny location access and everything else still works; you simply lose the weather correlations.

What is medication-overuse detection?

Frequent use of acute migraine medication can itself cause more headaches. MigraSync counts your acute medication days per month and warns you as you approach the thresholds used in headache medicine, so you can raise it with your doctor early. It's a prompt to have a conversation, not a clinical judgment.

Can I get my data out?

Yes, always. Settings → Privacy → Export My Data gives you the complete archive as a JSON file: profile, settings, every entry, good days, medications, cycle log, aura log and HIT-6 scores.

How do I delete my account?

From Settings → Privacy → Delete My Account & Records, or by following the instructions on our account deletion page. Deletion is permanent and removes both your local data and any cloud backup.

Is there an iPhone version?

Android is available now. An iOS build is in progress — the app is written cross-platform, so it's a matter of release, not rewrite.
